Shoktopus appears in Who da Ubermensch?. Empowered imagines herself defeating Shoktopus and being lauded by the city and the Superhomeys; but in reality, she is defeated and captured.
In Not a Good Day to Be Empowered, during a HeroNET report about the latest trouble Empowered is in, background footage is shown of her saving a baby from a wrecked car only to be grappled and zapped by Shoktopus immediately afterwards.
