Plot[]
The Caged Demonwolf narrates a story in which the other Superhomeys convinced Empowered to dress up as a "sexy librarian" in order to investigate a poltergeist at an old hotel. They initially take lots of video of her wearing the outfit, but by the time the poltergeist actually attacks they have lost interest and are no longer paying attention. At the end, it is revealed that the story is being told by the Caged Demonwolf to Emp's hypermembrane, which is sapient. Ninjette then enters the apartment, and the Caged Demonwolf starts to tell the story over again from the beginning.

- Unused pages that were originally part of this chapter are included in the extras of Empowered Deluxe Edition Volume I. Adam Warren's notes indicate that the poltergeist was going to be the ghost of a mad scientist who died from using Mayfly.
